How We Drink
Connecting body with vessel for intimate drinking
As a child, whilst still at school, Shaakira used her hands to drink water. By cupping the palms of both her hands together she could form a drinking vessel to hold water. Reflecting on this memory, she realized that this made the drinking experience different when compared to drinking from a conventional cup. With this childhood memory in mind, she designed a vessel that reintroduces the intimacy of drinking from her hands.
